WONDERS, SIGNS, MIRACLES—GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE

By Frank Eiklor and Cecilia Contreras

INTRODUCTION

Someone has said, “It is incredible to think that we can speak with God, but it is terrifying to think that God will speak to man.”  Well said! Like the song says, “Our God is an awesome God!” And because He is so awesome, anytime God shows Himself, you can expect the incredible—signs, wonders and miracles.

I sometimes smile when some of my Jewish friends say, “I can’t believe in Jesus or the New Testament because I don’t believe in miracles like walking on water, healing the sick, raising the dead, etc. I only believe in the Old Testament.” Well, I just recorded all the major miracles, signs and wonders God did—in the Old Testament. Wow! It’s overwhelming. So let’s take a journey through the first 39 books of the Bible and see the “God of the impossible” at work. And remember, what He has done for others, He can do for you!
