LESSON 5
1. NOAH—When you know you’re right, don’t worry if others think you foolish. Genesis 6:11-14,22
2. ABRAHAM—Give instant obedience to all of God’s commands. Genesis 12:1-4
3. MOSES—Don’t be jealous when God uses others—rejoice with them. Numbers 11:29
4. JOSEPH—A) Guard moral integrity like the world guards its treasures. Genesis 39:7-9
B) Like Joseph, see God’s care in everything that happens to you—good or bad. Genesis 50:20
5. JOSHUA—Be a man of the Word of God. Joshua 1:8
6. GIDEON—Teach others to look to God—not to you. Judges 8:22,23
7. SAMUEL—A) Live a life of integrity so that no one can call you a hypocrite. I Samuel 12:1-5
B) Like Samuel, be a man or woman of prayer. I Samuel 12:23
8. JOB—Determine that nothing will cause you to betray God. Job 13:15
9. DAVID—Never excuse sin—repent of sin. II Samuel 12:13 & Psalm 51
10. ELIJAH—Recognize God’s voice above all others. I Kings 18:1
11. ELISHA—Seek more of God—not more of gold. II Kings 2:9
12. NEHEMIAH—Keep your life and ministry free from compromise. Nehemiah chapter 13
13. JEREMIAH—Never argue with God if He wants to use you for something great. Jeremiah 1:4-10
14. DANIEL—Don’t fear what others may think of you—just obey God. Daniel 1:8
15. THE THREE HEBREW CHILDREN—Never make deals with god—just trust Him. Daniel 3:17,18
16. AMOS—Keep a humble opinion of yourself—but minister with boldness. Amos 7:14, 15
17. HABAKKUK—Learn to rejoice no matter your circumstances. Habakkuk 3:17,18
18. PAUL—Live so that others will want to follow your example. I Corinthians 11:1
19. JAMES—Let actions, not just words, mark your life. James 2:17,18
20. JOHN—Be an advertisement of God’s love in action. I John 3:18
21. JESUS—Remember the true meaning of “LEADER”—it is “SERVANT”. Mark 10:43-45
AND REMEMBER: “PEOPLE DON’T CARE HOW MUCH YOU KNOW UNTIL THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU CARE!”
